The brown oak in this one-off occasional table is truly exceptional. Pure 85% dark chocolate and full of characterful swirly pippy grain. It has been given a textured surface with a tool called a travisher so it feels delightful. The contrasting ash legs with their elegant curve and flared ends have been drawknifed by hand, seasoned and jointed to the solid oak top. A piece with a strong sculptural presence.
