Holbeton Community Orchard Bench Project

A five-day project to make a bench for the community orchard. It took place during the winter of 2014 -15. The project involved a core group of six people, with addition support during the ceremonial cleaving of the oak during apple day, and installation which coincided with the annual wassail. A local farmer transported the timber from Sparkwell where some of it had been planked for a previous community project.
